My Veteran's health is vastly affected by Agent Orange. I know each and everyday I have him is a Blessing for sure. This morning when I awoke he was not in our bed. I learned this after reaching my toe across the bed for the daily bed check to see if he was still with me. I was sick last night and still sick all day today with a horrible sinus infection that drained down my throat all night long. I got up and looked to see if he had fell out of the bed....but he wasn't there! Where in the H3LL is he? I walked down the hall finding him slumped over in his chair. My first thought he died! I live with this every day! I was able to get him up....he was disorentated....and his blood suagr were yet again 465. I got him up and into the bedroom so I could hide him . I still have a Child Care in my home because I will have to be able to support myself once he has gone to his Heavenly home. Today I had to ask a Child Care parent to help me. After I hid him in the bathroom He slid from the porcelin throne and was stuck between it and the wall. A quick call the the Health Bugddy and my husband was off to the local ER. They have stablized him and he will be going to OKC VA Medical Center. They do not want to change any medications until the Diabetic Specialist at OU sees him. Forunately , OU has ongoing research on Agent Orange so we are in the best palce we could be except it is 150 miles from my home one way! Tonight he may be home all night or he may not. JHowever , I will not be driving to OKC until I have slept. A local run to the ER maybe OKC .....NO!..........This is everyday of my life!
