You know I just seen something on Jay Leno that caught my eye. It was Jigger Whiskey tooth paste. With the way my life has been going for the last week I thought this is something that might work for me. I would have the cleanest teeth of anyone I know.....lol
Updates on my dh. He is doing much better. Our goal is to keep him out of the hospital. It is no easy feat but we are working towards that goal.
Update on all the water damage.........it is still all damaged...lol We will be working quite a while on this mess. I really don't now where to start. Today the carpets and the flooring is almost about dry. You just can't imagine how much water there was in my house as well as my yard, my neighbors yard and thier neighbors yard. I fear I will have a cornary when I open up the water bill.
The appliance repairman came out today on the washer machine. It seems the washer is completely fried. It said he was amazed it didn't catch fire. Well ,I can tell you with that waterfall directly over the digital keyboard I imagine it would have put out any fire better than if it had of had it own personal springler system. The other thing he was curious about was why didn't it break the breakers and with how did I possibly enter the room with all that water not getting electricuted. You know what....that never even enered my mind. The good news is he was able to get the dryer working. So, when I can wash clothes again I can dry them.
I called Whirlpool to ask quesions about my washer. I do want to replace with the same washer since it was a matching set. When I explained to the gentleman what had taken place he made me an offer I never expected to recieve. My washer is only 16 months old. When I told him it would not have been under warranty anyway because it was damaged not malfunctioned by defect. He said he was going to make me an offer that Whirlpool would reimburse up to 20% the cost of the washer replacement. I was shocked! This will certainly help witht he cost and it was a gracious gift given I never expected. I have to admit I smiled from ear to ear. It made me feel so good.
We are off washer hunting tommorow. I have to replace the door to the utility room this weekend as well. The door is in sad shape. This next week we will be accessing where we intend to start. I beleive the sub flooring in the kitchen and the laundry room is first on the list.
This too shall pass. Later on...and I mean much later on I am sure dh and I will be able to laugh about this. Maybe ,If I buy the Jigger Whiskey toothpaste I will be able to laugh sooner than later?
