I hope some ladies will come on and post positive news. It it so helpful to hear good news, even when my world is turning upside down. Knowing that it's possible to have good days, gives hope. We share an existence that not a lot of people understand. We know how important it is to relish the good times. We know how important it is to have a safe place to land. We know how important it is to have someone to talk to when we feel like we have nowhere to turn. Being able to come here to vent, seek clarity and understanding, and just breathe has been critical in helping me heal and move on. I've said before, I found this site on a day when I couldn't see myself surviving another day. I was desperately surfing the web for anything that would help me deal with the pain, loneliness, and fear.
I thought I was alone. Nothing could have been further from the truth. I have no doubt that there are others out there searching. I think I owe it to pay forward the help I was offered here. So PLEASE, ladies, keep posting. We never know when something we say will help someone who's in pain. There are so many young spouses of those returning from duty with PTSD who could benefit from our experience. They have no idea how big a struggle they face. It just breaks my heart.
