I stopped by today while a neighbor sat with DH for an hour. As I pulled into the neighborhood you could see the tears. The community was in the middle of building a cross for the accident site. I was glad I unknowingly showed up at the right time. I was able to help with the memorial site. We all talked about how we could help the family during this time. So I put in a call to his Caption to ask him to call me back. My and the other ladies crock pots and stoves are already going. Hopefully the Captain can arrange a drop of point for meals and gifts to take to the family. They were such a blessing to see how a community can pull together in a tragedy regardless of race, politics or religion. I sat with many of the ladies and let them know I was there for them whiter it be for a prayer a teer or a clean tissue. I hope his wife knows we are all here for him.
