I really can't offer much advise, money has always been a issue in our life. My dh grew up very poor raised by his grandmother, so he never had much as a child. He makes up for that in his aquiring things. Maybe a financial planner or a counselor like YR stated. As far as having kids I think as long as you have them fairly young I would say under 37 I see no real issues. There is no rush right now. I had my first at 18 second at 21. My sisters were both in their 30's when they had their daughters. We were all active in their lives. I might have struggled a bit more financially than they did. So maybe that's my advise, make sure your financially stable to have children. Your wants and needs take a back burner when you have them.
