I'm a sucker for a good pet story. You guys made my day. I hope to be next in getting a furry friend. Just have to find the time to go on a search. I can't wait to cuddle one on my lap. No doubt they make a difference with PTSD. I agree that our fellas often don't even realize what an impact animals have on their ability to calm down. Even when we are out and about and come across a dog, my dh's whole demeanor changes. He immediately engages and starts a conversation.
