I get the same thing from DH after a week of DH playing the game call of duty saying it did not bother him he had a huge break down and actually put certain games in a bag and took them in to the store and traded them out for other ones. I tend to cry over most things military and have to keep it under-wraps for DHs sake. I also feel like it took away my husband and sent back a man named after him. I cringed when he turns on anything military on the TV yet I know he has to be the one to not watch it. When the neighbors turn up patriotic songs in their backyard next to our bedroom window trying to pay tribute to DH I am thankful DH did not have his hearing aides in and I lay in bed and cry while they play and he sleeps.
