Here's my menu: DH is grilling a turkey with a can of beer in its butt. Now I don't know where he's going to get the can of beer, and I'm not sure we have enough propane, but I am not in charge of the turkey. I googled for him, and printed what I found, and that's the end of that. Since we won't have pan drippings (unless Turkey Plan A fails) I made sausage gravy. So of course I have to make biscuits. And I decided I'll french fry the sweet potatoes, and I made cornbread stuffing and added apples. I'm going to put green beans in the pressure cooker with grilled onion and maybe tomatoes that I canned last month. And the cranberries are going in a pie with pecans. I prepped almost everything just now after everyone went to bed. Then I walked my little dog under the stars and was thankful. Whatever craziness we bump up against this holiday, we can surely be thankful for each other!
