Today, I have to go to the local VA clinic to pick up a statement excusing me from Jury Duty. They say I am his primary Caregiver and I am a very necessary component in maintaining his fragile health. All righty then.....You know what sucks.....employment issues are NOT considered for any reason when excusing Jury Duty. They used the fact I had a business in my home as a reason to NOT grant me an excuse from Jury Duty. If I was working then I must be able to fulfill my civic duty. What happens if you don't work in many cases you don't eat, have utilities, or possible a roof over your head. Although this is not the issue here because Dh receives compensation I can see where that is a dire possibility with many households in the economic situations we are all in right now. Yes, Life is starting to look up. I am beginning to become much more calmer as the days pass by. I was thrown a blow but I am standing back up dusting myself off . I was never promised a rose garden but I sure am looking into investing into those thorn less rose bushes......lol!Nakiea
