Nakiea,
You are sole owner/operator of a day care which provides your monthly income to live on. Additionally, your husband has a life threatening disease (diabetes) with documented episodes of hypoglycemia. Your family doctor should be able to write a note excluding you from jury duty based on your husband's health issues. Additionally, financial duress (no daycare, no income) should excuse from jury duty.
Best of luck - you have many reasons for not participating in jury duty.
