Ladies, I am trying to prepare for tonight's conversation. My neighbor is going to watch the babe. I will say that he is doing individual therapy at the VA, and he just started it last week. He made a second appointment of his own accord. So this could be one of those "its going to get worse before it gets better" types of situations. My phone line was dead yesterday so I couldn't call his counselor, but I will today. She should know what's going on. And really, the STOP sign is a wonderful idea. But I have to USE it. I knew better than to call him out in the state he was in. Its not my fault at all, but actions cause reactions. This was preventable. However, I'm never going to be perfect. I will slip up, and he cannot break things every time I do. This is the first time he has ever showed violence. He has used angry loud voices plenty of times, and done a bit of slamming and cursing, but usually not in front of us. I want him to see that his behavior has consequences, but I'm not sure what those consequences should be yet. I went to the Joblink and got 3 more leads for jobs, which I'm going to apply for this afternoon. I am also going to find a better home for the dog. Breaks my heart, but this isn't about me. Gotta run. Thanks!
